Ryan Anderson Sets NBL Canada Record with 13 Three's!

NBL Canada

Ryan Anderson of the London Lightning broke the record for most three-pointers in a single game with 13 in a game against the Cape Breton Highlanders. He also broke the record for most three-point attempts, firing 27 at the basket from beyond the arc. The previous records were held by Omar Strong (11 threes) and Devin Sweetney (24 attempts), respectively.

“Special stuff happens with this team. They allowed me to heat up and they kept me going in the zone. I’m just happy to be a part of it,” said Anderson, who finished with 45 points.

Anderson had 17 points in the first quarter with five threes giving London a solid 17 point lead. That lead held up for the rest of the game as London’s offence was simply too good for Cape Breton’s defence.
